Terms & Conditions
By booking or using our services you accept these terms and conditions of trading.
1. Minimum Service Agreement
By signing up to our regular window cleaning service, you agree to a minimum 12-month service agreement.
The service is provided on a recurring schedule. Some flexibility may be required due to weather conditions, public holidays, or operational requirements.
If the service is cancelled before the end of the minimum term, all remaining scheduled cleans become immediately due and payable in full.
2. Access to Property
Customers are responsible for providing safe access to all areas requiring cleaning, including rear access where necessary.
Where rear access is unavailable, Pure Windows may carry out a front windows only clean at the applicable reduced charge.
Where no access is available to carry out any cleaning, the scheduled visit remains chargeable.
Short-notice cancellations and unavailable access may be charged as the scheduled appointment time has been reserved.
3. Cancellation
A minimum of 14 days’ notice is required to cancel the service.
Cancellation must be confirmed in writing via:

Verbal or text communication must be confirmed in writing to be valid.
Short-notice cancellations (less than 24 hours) or refusal of service on the day will be treated as a completed clean and charged in full.
Early termination will result in all remaining scheduled cleans becoming immediately due and payable.
4. Payments
Residential customers: Payment is due within 3 days of cleaning.
Commercial customers: Payment is due within 28 days of cleaning.

A reminder may be issued

A £30 late payment fee will be applied to accounts overdue by 30 days, and services may be suspended

Unpaid balances may be passed for debt recovery or court action
5. Weather & Cleaning Method
Our system uses 100% purified water and is designed to work effectively in wet conditions.
We clean in light rain; we do not clean in heavy rain, snow, freezing conditions (below 0°C), or unsafe weather conditions. Weather is not a valid reason for cancellation.
Rain does not affect the quality of the clean, as the glass is already wet during the cleaning process.
Windows are cleaned externally and left to dry naturally.
6. Health & Safety
We operate in accordance with health and safety regulations.
We reserve the right to refuse or stop work where conditions are unsafe or present a risk to our staff, property, or the public.
Customers must ensure that access areas are safe, clear, and suitable for cleaning.
7. Liability & Insurance
Insurance
Pure Windows is fully insured with Public Liability insurance covering both residential and commercial window cleaning services.
Pure Windows will not be held responsible for any damage to property or premises that existed prior to our cleaning.
Where possible, we will highlight any visible damage before commencing work.
We do not accept liability for damage caused by defects at the property or premises.
Liability & Damages
Our window cleaners do not accept liability for damage caused by decorative or structural defects at your property, including but not limited to:

ill-fitting windows and doors
-
fascias, guttering, trims or fittings

unsecured windows or doors
-
failed or leaking seals
-
loose trims, lead, or decorative bars
-
rotting frames or flaking paint
-
damaged or faulty vents
Pure Windows accepts no liability for decorative bars or external features becoming loose or detaching during cleaning.
Frames & Sills (uPVC)
Window frames and sills are cleaned as part of our standard service.
Over time, uPVC frames and sills may oxidise and lose colour. During cleaning, our process may remove surface oxidation, which may appear as marks or scratches.
Frames and sills are cleaned using standard methods as part of the service.
Pure Windows does not accept liability for any marks, scratches, or changes in appearance to frames and sills that become visible after cleaning.
Pure Windows is not responsible for restoring surfaces to an “as new” condition.
Glass
Our equipment is specifically designed for window cleaning and uses soft materials.
There are no metal parts on our brushes that could scratch glass under normal use.
Pure Windows does not accept liability for scratched glass unless it can be clearly proven that the damage was caused during our cleaning.
Burden of Proof
The customer must provide clear evidence that any alleged damage was directly caused during our service.
Cracked or Damaged Glass
We do not clean windows that are cracked or structurally compromised.
Hose Access Through Property
If we are asked to run hoses through a property, this is done at the customer’s risk. Pure Windows does not accept liability for any damage unless it is proven to have been caused by negligence during our service.
8. Complaints
Any complaints must be reported within 24 hours by email.
After this period, the service will be deemed accepted and completed to a satisfactory standard.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services without notice where a customer becomes unreasonable, abusive, or repeatedly disputes completed work.
10. Acceptance
By booking or using our services, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
12. Price Adjustments
We reserve the right to review and adjust prices due to increased costs. Customers will be notified in advance
13. Changes to terms
We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.The latest version will always be available on our website.
It is the customer’s responsibility to review the current Terms & Conditions. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the latest version
